1.in just a few weeks Apple set to be releasing their next Generation budget iPhone but it's going to be way different from cheap iPhones of the past today I want to show you Apple's allnew iPhone se4 rebuilt from the ground up with premium Pro features that I can't believe apple is actually adding including some surprises that I never thought we'd see at this price point see normally I'm not that excited about Apple's budget iPhone but this year they're flipping the script starting off with the design the iPhone se4 is getting rid of the decade old look with the small screen and the home button and battery life that barely gets through a day this year Apple's starting over the fourth generation iPhone SE looks quite a bit different while apple is still going to be using their premium aluminum and glass materials that give the device a nice look while also making it pretty durable the screen is dramatically increasing in size going from 4.7 in on the old model up to 6.1 in introducing a new all screen design on the 2025 version but the real screen upgrade this year is what's below the surface apple is finally doing away with LCD and introducing OLED on their cheapest iPhone which is still going to be set at 60 HZ but the color and the contrast and the overall Fidelity of this iPhone SE screen will be just as good as any of Apple's other models which they've never done on their budget phone before notably though this new screen means that apple is doing away with the physical home button as well as the touch ID fingerprint sensor and they're replacing the authentication system with a new face ID array up at the top but here here's where things get interesting for the past year we have been hearing that the iPhone se4 would be equipped with the notch design up at the top that is what would house the face ID array is Apple wants this phone to still look slightly dated and encourage you to buy one of their more expensive models but now according to a new rumor from an incredibly reliable source Apple appears to have had a change of heart and we're now hearing that the iPhone se4 could actually be equipped with the dynamic Island this would give the device a significantly more premium look look and on the front match all of Apple's other iPhones including their $800 plus Flagship models to be fair this is one of those changes I think I have to see to believe and other equally reputable sources are already saying that this is not true and that Apple has planned the notch since the beginning but it is curious that a couple of top sources this close to the launch are still split on exactly what the front is going to look like and this is said to come on top of Apple adding other premium features too like on the left side of the device apple is swapping out the ring silent switch with the new action button which will be user reprogrammable to a number of different actions rather than being locked down to one thing as it was in the past and on the bottom of the phone swapping out the lighting port with USBC is Apple will finally complete their full product lineup transition to USBC in 2025 which they're planning to do very soon as they've already had to stop selling some versions of both the iPhone SE and iPhone 14 in different parts of Europe as devices with a lightning port Port are essentially illegal now so it's abundantly clear that USBC is a top priority for apple on the next iPhone SE I mean so far this barely sounds like a budget iPhone so where is Apple actually going to be cutting Corners to get the price on this down well it definitely starts on the back of the device with a single camera system rather than a dual or a triple setup although actually it's a way better camera system than it looks it's going to have a new 48 megapixel sensor from Apple which is four times the resolution of the current iPhone S which will significantly improve your photo and video quality but it's also got a couple of bonuses too with a sensor this Big Apple can also add a digital second lens on here as you'll likely be able to do a 2X telephoto crop in to take photos from a distance even though you only have a single camera lens and flip the phone around and the camera improvements continue here as well with face ID being added Apple's upgrading the front-facing camera from 7 to 12 megapixels which is again a pretty astronomical jump over the current model but wait a second with apple adding a new 48 megapixel camera sensor especially for video they need something pretty powerful on the inside to process all of that data and well according to numerous sources we are hearing that apple is doing just that they are not adding an older chip inside of here they are adding their latest fastest a18 chip on the inside the same chip that is currently found in the standard iPhone 16 models is going to be the exact same one you get on the inside of this budget iPhone SE and that chip is going to support all of Apple's latest AI features too meaning the full Suite of Apple Intelligence on day one will be available on this iPhone asie you'll be getting gen mooji on here the new look for Siri and by the time this releases the smarter version of Siri as well that says it will be able to understand your personal context in a brand new way now on top of that the a18 chip will also support I don't even think we've gotten to the biggest part of Apple adding the a18 chip yet and that is the improvements in power efficiency see when Apple first announced these chips as part of the iPhone 16 lineup they talked about the power and how that was going to be even better but the real Focus for them was creating a chip that improved battery life by drawing less power so when we turn to the iPhone se4 we already know that the size of this phone is getting dramatically larger therefore Apple will be putting a much larger physical battery internally combine that with the a18 Chip And I think the iPhone se4 is poised to have really good battery life which is something we have never been able to say about an iPhone SE model and it sounds like it could finally be happening or maybe the chip on the inside will just be part of how Apple improves the battery life because on the iPhone se4 Apple is about to do something that they have never done on an iPhone before and that is to introduce a pair of new Apple made components right now Apple only makes the chips inside of the iPhone but to bring cost down they might want to look at making other parts too because if they make it themselves it's cheaper to make and according to the final leaks apple is doing just that the iPhone se4 will be Apple's first to include an apple designed 5G cellular modem one that it launch will be nearly as fast as the third party Qualcomm one that they've been using historically and one more importantly that is way more power efficient so it doesn't drain your battery as quickly I mean to put it broadly the iPhone se4 is design kind of looks like an upgraded iPhone 14 and the rumors suggests that that is the exact rough design that apple is going for here and what that means is that along with the way that this device looks there's also a number of key iPhone 14 era changes that will likely be coming with this iPhone as well Apple could be improving the water resistance on this model bringing the iPhone SE from the current 1 meter for up to 30 minutes of submersion to 6 M for up to 30 minutes the growing Suite of satellite connectivity features will also likely be added on the iPhone se4 not only enabling emergency SOS via satellite but also the ability to send text messages from anywhere in the world while Off the Grid and alongside that with an upgraded gyroscope on the inside the iPhone se4 will likely get crash detection a feature that Apple first debuted back in 2022 this was the moment for me that everything clicked with the iPhone se4 because watching this video and even hearing these rumors it almost sounds like this device is too good to be true right a budget iPhone with an OLED display and face ID a 48 megapixel camera system USBC and an action button with the internals of a larger battery and Apple's latest chip plus new Apple design Parts it just didn't sound feasible right can apple do that in a $4 to $500 iPhone well yeah we're hearing that they can we're hearing that all of this is happening at $500 this year and the reason it is finally happening now and it hasn't happened in the past is Apple has the vertical integration of parts in the iPhone and the economy of scales of production to actually make this happen 2025 will Mark Apple's 18th year of manufacturing iPhones and all of their bets on their own stuff is finally paying off they made a most APPL made iPhone for the cheapest price like that was the goal from the beginning and I'm like yeah it kind of makes sense now we were kind of working our way up to this for a while like it's not to say the iPhone se4 won't have compromises I mean the screen is still 60 HZ in 2025 if you want promotion or a higher refresh rate you got to spend a grand in your hand it's going to be made of aluminum rather than a more premium material like titanium and if you want additional camera versatility there are way better iPhone options out there but I think the point I'm trying to make is that this time around Apple's finally making a budget iPhone with no big compromises for most people in the past there's just always been something glaring like a super tiny battery or a horribly small display but this time around they're just releasing a really solid iPhone that for the vast majority of people that just want a new smartphone that don't upgrade very often this is going to be the one to get I think the iPhone se4 is exactly what Apple needs especially in markets outside of the United States and it seems like we're just a couple of weeks out from Apple dropping
