home for me it's all about eating healthy and knowing exactly what's in my food plus I find cooking really rewarding you know what they say home is where the heart is and for me that includes the kitchen well I have to admit I eat out way more often than I cook my schedule is so hectic that I feel like I'm always burning the candle at both ends by the time I get home I'm too exhausted to even think about cooking that's a common problem Jack but Carol what would you say to someone like Jack who's too busy to cook I totally get it Jack life can be really busy but here's the thing cooking at home doesn't have to be a big deal even throwing together a quick stir fry or sandwich can make a difference start small and take it one step at a time you might be on to something I think I've been making a mountain out of a mole hill I imagine cooking as this huge project when it probably doesn't have to be exactly back home cooking doesn't have to be complicated and think about the benefits it's healthier it saves money and it's a great way to unwind after a long day oh absolutely for me cooking is like therapy when I'm chopping vegetables or stirring a pot I feel like I can clear my head and focus plus there's the satisfaction of knowing I'm making something nourishing for myself that does sound nice but sometimes I feel like I just don't have the time my work keeps me so busy that I end up grabbing something on the go or ordering takeout I hear you jack but think about this how much time do you spend waiting for takeout or sitting at a restaurant sometimes cooking a quick meal takes the same amount of time or less you have a point plus eating out is starting to feel like money down the drain exactly and you can make cooking Fun by trying new recipes or even cooking with a friend you know what they say many hands make light work that's a great idea Carol and Jack here's another tip prep your ingredients in advance when you've got things ready to go it's a piece of cake to throw together a meal even on busy days H that makes sense maybe I'll give it a shot I could start with breakfast it's simple enough right totally a quick omelette or some avocado toast takes no time at all plus it's a great way to start the day off on the right foot absolutely and remember cooking at home doesn't have to be perfect just focus on making something you enjoy and you'll reap the rewards in no time thanks guys you've inspired me to give cooking at home a real shot who knows maybe I'll turn over a new leaf and become a home cooking Pro that's the spirit Jack and
