Transkrip & Sorotan Interaktif

1.hi guys I recently started one of my favorite TV shows and then I that a lot of people have been asking for some TV show whether that be for learning English or just wanting to watch something new so I thought I'd share with you some of my all-time favorite TV shows and these would be great for practicing English or maybe even just learning about American humor or American culture or anything like that so let's get into it first is the show that I just started recently and this one is Avatar The Last and I know when some people see a cartoon they might be thinking I don't want to watch that that's just for kids and it is but just hear me out on this it is a kids show technically and I did watch this for the first time when I was a kid but regardless of that it's still considered one of the best TV shows in America and to this today people still talk about this show so in this show there are four nations and each nation is based off an Element like water fire earth and air some people in these nations have the ability to bend these elements so if you live in the water Nation you might be able to water bend and control the water with your hands but there is one person who is able to control all four elements and this person is called the Avatar and this person is supposed to keep the peace between all four nations but the current Avatar goes missing and he's been missing for more than a hundred years so the Fire Nation kind of starts this war and is trying to conquer all four nations until one day the Avatar comes back so when he comes back he has to master all four elements and restore peace and stop the war I could honestly talk about this show for so long it's so good it's so interesting there are so many great characters that have amazing development the animation is great it feels nostalgic to me at least and despite being a kids show it does deal with some pretty heavy topics while also sometimes being really and fun to watch I have a very special place in my heart for this show and I also highly recommend it to you guys because the good thing about cartoons is that usually they speak pretty clearly and it's really easy to understand what they're saying the conversations are pretty simple it's easy to follow and they also use a lot of phrases and expressions that we really do use in real life I really highly highly recommend this show it's really really good and just trust me on this and give it a shot and each episode is only like 20 minutes long s so it's pretty easy to squeeze in your schedule if you don't want animation or cartoons I totally understand and here are some other shows that I think you would like as well I would definitely recommend new girl it's about a girl who moves into an apartment with three other guys Without Really knowing that they were all guys it's a pretty simple plot that's easy to follow it's filled with real life conversations and things that we would actually say in day-to-day life it's also a great show for understanding what American humor is like right now so a lot of other sitcoms they might be a little cheesy and personally for me I really hate those laugh tracks that they add in so this show feels much more natural and I actually did like laugh out loud a few times when watching this show so I highly recommend new girl and then similarly I also recommend a show called Parks and Recreation and we usually just refer to this as parks and wreck because the name is literally way too long and for this show you also just have to trust me on this like the first season is pretty rough it's pretty hard for even me to watch so if you want you could skip to the second season and just start watching from there but this show has a lot of really interesting characters it's really funny and it's also good for practicing daily Expressions if you're looking for something a little more dramatic then I'd recommend one of my favorite shows Mad Men this one is a bit more mature but it's still great for practicing English so this show follows a huge Ad Agency in New York City and it's set in the 1960s and we follow the main characters who are working in the creative department and they're making all these ads for these huge companies but we also see the characters complex lives in a Time in America where things were changing so rapidly both socially and economically one of the reasons I love this show so much is not only because of the story which is really great it's really interesting but also because they pay such close attention to detail so from the set design to the costumes to the way that people thought back then everything is so realistic in the show so I think if you like drama and history and interesting story lines this would be a really really great show to watch I highly recommend it and this show is great not only for practicing English but it also shows you a lot of really events that happened in America and it's really great for understanding more about American history or American culture and it's honestly like a real true portal to look back and see what life was really like back then honestly I always mention stuff like learning more about American humor American history and stuff like that because if you really want to learn a language it's a lot more than just memorizing a few words and expressions if you want to go deeper and start to develop fluency then it's going to take a lot more than just simple memorization language and culture are very very closely intertwined so if you really want to learn a language you can't do so without understanding at least a little bit about the culture because there are so many expressions and even the characteristics of a language that are rooted in the culture I mean just like when I learned Chinese my Chinese professors always emphasize the importance of understanding Chinese culture and in our classes our Chinese professors always made time for understanding more about Chinese history or holidays or special events stuff like that which from experience I can tell you really helped me when I was learning Chinese so anyway I hope these shows were helpful for you guys for learning English and these would all be great for helping you create that English environment even at home and also for learning daily expressions or whatever it may be if you watched any of these shows or if you do watch any of these shows please let me know in the comments what you thought of them or if you like them I I'm really interested to see which shows you guys will like and also feel free to recommend some other shows that might have helped you when you were learning English as well and I'll see you guys next time okay bye-bye
