1.hey everybody welcome to this A2 listening practice vid you can use this vid to work on your listening and get what I'm saying so today I'm going to chat about sports this is stuff some of you might totally love and some might not care about at all i've always been a sporty guy so I'm into sports when I was a kid I played a bunch of sports i tried out pretty much all the big sports when I was growing up one of the first sports I got into was te-ball you might not know this sport cuz it's just for little kids i played te-ball when I was like four or five it's kind of like baseball but way easier and simpler after te-ball I started kicking a soccer ball around in the US tons of kids play soccer but not so many grown-ups do soccer ain't as big in the US as it is other places i also messed around with baseball tennis and basketball when I was a kid out of all those basketball was totally my fave i kept playing basketball till I was 17 then I quit i was pretty tall as a kid so I had a leg up in basketball the other kids were shorter than me i was the tallest dude on my middle school team that meant I could score real easy but in high school the other kids shot up and I wasn't much taller anymore so I couldn't score easy anymore maybe that's why I bailed on basketball i played a ton of tennis when I was young too my whole fam super into tennis so my folks made me play as a kid i didn't really dig it at first but later I started liking it more i was actually pretty decent at it i took a bunch of and hit up some tennis tournaments but I tennis cuz I was more into hoops also when I was 16 I wanted to try football american football you might not know much about it but it's huge for guys in the US anyway I was really into football and wanted to join my high school team i trained with him for a few months but I wasn't super serious about it the team practiced a ton like every day and I couldn't keep up with that so in the end I didn't play after high school I got into golf golf's one of the sports if you ask me it's crazy hard like maybe the toughest sport ever that's why it's so addicting you feel when you nail a good shot cuz you know how tricky it is it's also super annoying when you screw up so golf ain't fun but a good day on the course nothing beats that it's so dang addicting these days I don't really play sports anymore honestly I don't have much time for sports and I'm not as pumped as I was back then now I'm more into doing other stuff but I still like sports every now and then all right let's talk about watching sports now some folks like watching sports more than playing them i used to be with watching sports i was probably a bit too into it honestly my fave football team back in the day was the Seahawks and I caught every game i'd get hyped when they hit the and went nuts when they won the Super Bowl but I probably spent way too much time and energy on being a football fan nowadays I don't really watch football anymore i was also a huge LA Lakers fan when I was younger i got lucky cuz I saw him win the championship five times as a kid i used to dream about balling for the Lakers when I grew up these days soccer is the only sport I watch i think I got into soccer when I was all grown up like I said before I played it as a kid but I was more into other stuff but now that I'm an adult soccer's deaf my top sport besides regular sports i've tried some wild ones like and snowboarding i used to skateboard a ton in high school and even filmed some vids with my buds i'd say I was never that great at it though i always liked watching other people pull off tricks I couldn't as for snowboarding I've only gone three times but it was a blast the first time sucked cuz I fell like a million times but the second and third times were way better once I figured out how to move right it got fun i can't wait to hit the slopes again okay that's it for today drop a comment and tell me your fave sport catch you in the next vid
