1.[Music] making a hotel reservation [Music] good morning London Bridge Hotel how can I help you hello I was wondering if I could make a reservation of course sir when were you thinking of visiting well I was hoping to be with you from August 23rd to the 6th of September two weeks in total for two adults of course let me take a look for you a moment thanks whilst the system is loading can I ask where you're coming in from I'm guessing you're not in England no ma'am my wife and I will be flying in from Nashville Tennessee [Music] we've always wanted to visit your beautiful country and now finally Our Stars have aligned and we can make our dreams a reality that's wonderful do you plan to visit another area of England during your stay yeah we got family down in the south so once we've toured London we're traveling to Devon and Cornwall [Music] that's wonderful okay so yes we have availability for your preferred dates you can choose from a double room which includes a double bed and standard services or a king-sized room with a balcony hot tub overlooking Central London [Music] oh my with our two-week stay I think we'll Splash out before I make a decision what price are they the double room is 128 pounds a night and the king-sized room with a balcony hot tub is 352 pounds okay this is a once in a lifetime trip could I please book The king-sized room for the given dates of course that's all sorted you should receive an email shortly with a booking confirmation checking in at the airport [Music] okay here we are the vacation starts now oh Brock I'm so excited me too honey hopefully because you checked in online at home this will be much easier and quicker then we can relax in the departure lounge and treat ourselves to an airport breakfast oh yes please it'll cost a bomb but an airport trip isn't worth it if it doesn't start with a slap Up full English breakfast especially as we're crossing over the English soil it's a must okay this is the machine Brock you just need the ticket number and it'll print out our boarding pass okay oh wow this is super convenient all done right let's check in our baggage look our flight is at desk 23

2.hurry the queue is short I can almost smell the breakfast hi there can I see your passport in boarding passes please of course here you go great that's all good please put your suitcase in the luggage conveyor fingers crossed it's not too heavy did we manage to pack under the weight limit yes it is under well that's a first okay you're all checked in you can make your way down to departures and find your boarding gate that's great thank you so much of course enjoy your flight thank you [Music] ordering food on the plane ladies and gentlemen we are now cruising over the North Atlantic if you look out of your windows now you will see vast expanses of blue surely we will start the dinner service please be patient we will serve you as soon as possible oh great I am starving me too hopefully we'll be served quickly yeah and our food should be nice and warm good evening would you like pork sausages or vegetarian sausages and beans pork sausages please pork sausages for me too of course and for dessert trickle sponge or fresh fruit fresh fruit for me please oh treacle sponge please okay great this is for you ma'am thank you and this is for you sir ma'am what can I get you to drink what can I choose from we have water orange juice tea or coffee oh coffee for me please of course here you go and for you sir orange juice please great here you go thank you oh could I have a few extra napkins please I'm so clumsy I know I spilled my coffee at some point sure here enjoy your meal [Music] lost luggage our luggage hasn't arrived yet I think it's lost oh no that's the last thing we needed to happen what can we do let's go to the baggage service counter and get this sorted out okay let's go hello I wonder if you could help us our suitcase hasn't come through yet this sort of thing has never happened to us before yes I understand okay I'll phone through to the baggage people to see if there's anything left below what was your flight number our flight number was ac1234 what's your name Brock Johnson what does the luggage look like it's a burgundy leather suitcase with a blue belt tied around it okay I'll check with the baggage team and see if they can locate it in the meantime did you make sure to tag your luggage with your name and contact information yes I did that's great unfortunately lost luggage can happen but hopefully we can locate it soon thank you for your help I hope they can find our luggage as soon as possible I'm so relieved they managed to find our luggage so fast yes I guess we've been lucky after all let's go to the Customs now going through customs hi can I see your passports please yes here you go thank you who are you traveling with this is my wife Eleanor could you put your suitcase on the table please yes sure would you mind opening it for me please yes of course did you pack it yourselves yes we did where do you come from Nashville Tennessee is this your first time in the UK yes it is okay and what's the purpose of your visit well here as tourists and we'll also be visiting some relatives and how long do you plan to stay two weeks where will you be staying at London Bridge Hotel have you got anything to declare no I Brock Johnson ah Mr Mrs Johnson it's lovely to meet you my name is Kirsty and I took your booking over the phone you've come a long way I believe yeah all the way from Nashville Tennessee goodness how was your flight it was super smooth but we're so tired yeah the flight alone was eight hours and with the traveling time to and from the airport it's just been a long journey absolutely let me get you two checked in as quickly as possible so that you can take a lie down thank you so much okay so you're in room three two one a king-sized room with a balcony hot tub you have spectacular views across the center of London [Applause] [Music] and I'm sure you'll notice some of the city's tourist attractions breakfast is included in the price of your booking and it's served between 8 and 10 30 am you'll need to take the elevator to the third floor follow the corridor straight and your room is the fourth door on the right that's fantastic thank you thank you here is your key if you need anything else during your stay please don't hesitate to ask you're so kind [Music] sightseeing plan [Music] okay Brock now that we're here and have a good night's sleep we should make a plan that way we can make sure we have everything we want in the city absolutely honey I'd be distraught if it were time to head down south and we hadn't seen everything with two weeks here we should be able to get around it all I'm sure what is at the top of your list I've always wanted to visit the Tower of London the history in that place is beyond comparison okay I reckon we start there then I'd love to head over to Camden Market [Music] oh and then we should watch a show in the West End Wicked or Hamilton let's fill our first day with everything we're desperate to do I love that idea we should take each day as it comes and see what we feel like doing I would also love to see the museums though the Natural History Museum and the Victorian Albert Museum absolutely why don't we do one of them tomorrow I'd love to right then if we're going to do everything we wanted today we need to get to breakfast and head out soon good plan dear are you ready [Applause] traveling by bus this is the bus we need I'm sure I checked the schedule three times two tickets to Piccadilly Circus please oh no sorry ma'am this isn't the bus for you we're heading in the opposite direction oh I'm so sorry to waste your time no worries it's a big city and there are so many buses you don't sound like you're from around here no we're visiting from the states nice I've always wanted to visit that corner of the world it is a beauty do you think you could point us in the direction of the right start for Piccadilly sure you need to cross the road and head down Arthur Street just there until you see the sign for bus 88

3.mind you it's much easier to travel by tube there's a station at almost every Junction and it'll get you there in half the time oh great thank you you've been so helpful not a problem enjoy your day okay then Brock bus or Subway let's Venture by two Let's Travel the authentic way [Applause] calling room service to order breakfast I am exhausted me too we walked so far yesterday my step counter read 19872 steps by the end of the day my feet are killing me let's take it easy today good plan I'm not even sure I can make it down to breakfast that bad huh maybe we should call room service and indulge ourselves I love that idea I would love eggs poached on toast and a latte coffee okay honey I'll call down to the front desk and place our order [Music] good morning this is the front desk Olivia speaking how can I help you oh hi there I'd like to order a room service breakfast of course what room are you in we're in room three two one okay what can I get for you sir could I please ask for poached eggs on toast what sort of bread would you like white bread or brown bread oh brown bread please with that could I have a latte coffee would you like anything else yes then I would like a full English breakfast um fried or scrambled eggs scrambled eggs please and a latte with that one too okay your order will be delivered to your room in 15 minutes 15 minutes is fine thank you so much goodbye buying souvenirs in a shop [Music] oh look at the shop I've seen so many souvenirs that look quite tacky but this shop is great I agree it all looks much better quality oh well look at this wine glass holder with bee feeders on it for Mom she'd love that oh yes that's novelty and so a peralee then for Anita I have to get her an authentic Paddington Bear she's always been in love with that character oh and for the twins these London pencil cases filled with stationery are perfect great I'll just head over to the counter and pay for them great can I add some fudge to the pile who for me I just love it so much [Music] hello there can I pay for these bits please I of course you have a great store thank you this little place is my pride and joy okay what do we have here wine glass holder that's nine pounds 99 two pencil cases they're seven pounds fifty each and the Paddington Bear that's 12 pounds 99
